Job-site photos with verifiable time and place
Last updated
CaptureSeal stamps every site photo and video with the date, time, address and GPS coordinates, and seals it so a client, inspector or court can check it wasn’t edited or re-dated. It’s proof of work done, and of conditions found, that holds up when someone asks “when was this taken?”
Where it helps
| Situation | What to capture |
|---|---|
| Before work starts | Existing conditions and damage, neighbours’ property, access routes |
| Progress and hidden work | Rebar, insulation, wiring and plumbing before they’re covered |
| Completion and handover | Finished work, meter readings, serial numbers |
| Delays and variations | Weather, blocked access, materials delivered or missing |
| Safety | Barriers, signage and hazards at the time of an incident |
Why a stamp alone isn’t enough
Stamp-only camera apps make a photo look dated, and that’s useful. But anyone can edit a stamp or set a phone’s clock back. A CaptureSeal capture is sealed on the phone the moment it’s taken, and the time is cross-checked against internet time when there’s signal, so a re-dated or edited copy fails the check.
Honest location
GPS can be off by metres indoors or between tall buildings. CaptureSeal records the accuracy with every fix and won’t use a stale one. If the location is approximate, the record says so rather than guessing.
Reports for clients
Pro includes PDF reports with your logo and company: selected captures with their time, place, fingerprints and verify links, ready to attach to an invoice or a progress claim.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can I add my company name to the stamp?
Yes, with Pro: your own label replaces the CaptureSeal name in the stamp footer.
Does it work without signal on site?
Yes. Captures are sealed on the phone. Without network, the time can’t be cross-checked, so the record says “Device clock”, and the stamp says so too. Location still comes from GPS.
Is there a team plan?
Not yet. Each person will use their own phone and plan at launch. Team features are planned.
